Hi all. The purpose of this blog will be to analyze and rate chart-topping songs such as the ones maintaining high rankings on the Billboard Hot 100. I will introduce a slighty atypical methodology of analysis, with categories including a song's catchiness, why the song performs well in the U.S. vis-a-vis other countries' charts (or vice versa), and if (or how much) a song will be remembered in the future and/or receive airplay for many subsequent years.
